Well, most of it. And in a Jeep.

The Jornada del Muerto is a stretch of the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro known for dire desert conditions. I took the trip from Las Cruces to Truth of Consequences today to see what the adventure is like. I found animals, trails, barren desert, space, and more! It’s definitely worth taking a side route off of I-25 between T or C and Las Cruces. Here are some pictures.
