17 May Quick Stop at Slot Canyon Getaway

One of the hidden treasures in Doña Ana County is the Slot Canyon Getaway. I gotta say, though, last time we went it was clearly not the same. Based on the number of footprints headed out there and the several groups hiking around, I’d say it’s not hidden anymore, and that’s wonderful! The more time we spend outside, the better our quality of life. This is a simple 20-minute drive from Las Cruces and an easy, relatively flat hike. The only hurdle is the gate you have to jump to start the Adventure. But have no fear, it’s not a crime to jump it.
